Low Vs. Diamond album/ SFR show tonight!

You may all remember that we went on tour with Low Vs. Diamond this past November. Their debut album came out this week on Sony BMG. The album is fantastic, and I'm not just saying that because they are our friends. I'm saying it because the songs are legit. Too legit to quit! It has a Killers vibe but they very much have their own sound. So basically you all need to get this record. And please support the band by buying it! Good work boys! We have a show tonight @ The Dragonfly in Hollywood. We are on at 11:30. It's the debut of SFR as a three piece. It's not really a debut because we started as a three piece, but it's been a while. And we are playing ton of stuff from our first record. Neighbors anyone?

For the birds...

There is group of birds that nest in the trees on my street. They don't start chirping till the sun goes down. I am convinced that they are a pack of blind birds. Or maybe they are goth birds, or even vampire birds. Either way, they keep me up all night and I'm just about done with it. Last week one of my neighbors came out of her house banging on a pot with a spoon trying to scare them away. But they just keep coming back. If anyone knows how to make birds go away, or if anyone collects birds and wants to make a new home for these loud bastards, please be my guest.

Now that I got that off of my hairy jewish chest, lets talk about Something For Rockets. We are playing a benifit on April 2nd to raise money for Anothony Rickman who has fallen ill. The money will go towards helping to pay for his medical bills. Totally Rad and my favorite LA band, Dawes (formerly Simon Dawes) will be playing along with DJ sets from TIm from OKGO and Adam 12 from She Wants Revenge. It's going to be a hot night for sure, and it's for a good cause.

It's going to be our first show as a three piece since, well, I can't remember the last time we played as a three piece. I guess it hasn't been since before Jacques joined the band. But fear not loyal SFR fans, we are going to rock the house with a serious dance-party set of new and old songs. Josh will also be dawning his signature mustache. So everyone come out to support and lets fucking party!

Live Webcast

Hey party people,

I know it's been a while. I wanted to let you all know that I'm going to start doing live webcasts of my musical endeavors. I'm currently working on a solo record in addition to new SFR and Girth tunes. I figured, instead of doing 40 second long youtube clips, i would just show you what goes on in real time. There is also a chat room so we can hang. Either way, lets try this whole voyeur thing out shall we? I'll try to keep it interesting.

Friday night was dope. The show was packed and people were ready to party. Honestly i think it was one of our best LA shows in a long time. Good vibes goes a long way.
